Transform garden spaces with striking foliage and unique tulip-shaped blooms as Liriodendron tulipifera brings grandeur to any landscape, offering vibrant leaf colour and impressive height that make it a true showpiece for larger gardens. You'll see its leaves shift from lush green to buttery gold in autumn, while mature trees reward patience with distinctive summer flowers and cone-like fruits. Supplied as a pair of 9cm potted plants, they're easy to establish in sunny or semi-shaded spots with rich, moist soil, and need little pruning, making them a rewarding addition for gardeners seeking lasting impact. Grow Tulip Trees in a sunny or semi-shaded position. Plant Liriodendron tulipifera in a rich, moist, well-drained, neutral to slightly acid soil. Incorporate plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply. Water regularly throughout the growing season until young Liriodendron trees are fully established. Tulip trees require little pruning other than to maintain their shape and remove damaged or crossing stems in late winter or early spring.
