Bring vibrant structure and wildlife appeal to any garden with the Thompson and Morgan Ligustrum Vulgaris Liga Plant Pot 9cm 2 Pack. Semi-evergreen leaves keep spaces looking fresh year-round, while fragrant summer flowers draw in bees and butterflies for a lively display. Hardy and wind-tolerant, ‘Liga’ performs well in sun or shade and a variety of soils, producing glossy black berries in autumn that support garden birds and boost biodiversity. Minimal pruning is required, making it a smart choice for hedges, wildlife-friendly borders, or as a free-standing feature. How to Grow: Plant in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Tolerates a wide range of soils, including sand, chalk, and clay. Free-standing shrubs require minimal pruning; remove dead, damaged, or diseased growth each spring. Trim formal hedges in May and August. Mulch with 5cm of well-rotted compost or manure after pruning. New growth returns quickly in spring, even if foliage is lost in severe cold. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary the results. Image may be included for illustration of supply, but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
