Place in sun or semi shade, ensuring that it is not in the full glare of the sun or in the way of cold draughts – the sun can burn the leaves. Plant in any moist, well-drained soil. Take care not to overwater; keep soil moist, but ensure the plant is not sitting in water, as this can damage the roots. Reduce watering slightly in the winter months.
