- Compact tree with purple-blue blooms
- Grows up to 1.5m ideal for patios
- Frost-sensitive keep sheltered in winter
You’ll love this unique, dwarf Jacaranda! Bred in Japan, this stunning dwarf variety blooms from a height of just 70cm and reaches its full potential at just 1.5m tall. Flowering from a very young age, this is a spectacular dwarf tree for patio containers, where you can enjoy its purple-blue blooms in May and June each year. The fabulous flowers are complemented by delicate, ferny foliage. Grow Jacaranda in a sheltered, sunny position in sandy, well-drained soil. This tender tree will survive a minimum temperature of -2C (28F) but is best grown in a container which can be brought into a heated greenhouse or conservatory during the winter months. It can be returned to the patio as the weather warms in the following spring. Plant height and spread are seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only. Please note: This product cannot be delivered outside the United Kingdom. Product specifications: Position: Full Sun, Sun or Semi-Shade. Height: Up to 150cm when fully established. Spread: Up to 60cm when fully established. Flowering period: May to June. Delivered with growing and care instructions. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
