- Low-maintenance ground cover with dense habit
- Yellow summer flowers, orange-red autumn berries
- Thrives in sun or semi-shade, drought tolerant
This low-growing Hypericum ‘Orange Flair’ makes a fantastic, low-maintenance ground cover with a neat, bushy and dense habit. Tolerating most growing conditions, it’s easy to grow and treat you to a long-lasting display of colour which changes through the seasons. Lush green foliage covers the plant from spring onwards which is then joined by a generous display of bright yellow flowers through the summer months. In autumn the flowers turn into attractive orange-red berries which extend the season of interest as well as making fantastic material for autumn cut flower bouquets. Plant this Hypericum in any well-drained garden soil in sun or semi shade. Hypericum is a versatile, low maintenance plant coping well in poor, dry soils once established. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young Hypericums plants become established. Mature plants require little attention throughout the growing season. Prune plants back to ground level each spring to allow fresh new growth to develop. Position: Full Sun/Partial Shade Height: Up to 75cm when fully established Spread: Up to 75cm when fully established Supplied as 1 x Hypericum ‘Orange Flair’ plant in a 9cm pot. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e. g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
