Low maintenance and very unfussy, Hypericum will grow in virtually any soil, in sun or shade. Producing multiple stems from the base, they’re easy to thin out or prune to the right size to suit your garden. Plant St. John’s Wort in any garden soil and in a position that is sheltered from cold winds. Hypericum is a versatile plant that copes well in poor, dry soils and even thrives in deep shade. Feed and water plants regularly throughout the growing season while young Hypericums plants become established. Mature plants require little attention throughout the growing season.
