Product Information

  • Big white blooms from July to October
  • Ideal for borders or patio pots
  • Hardy, long-lasting garden shrub
Give your garden a classy edge with this angelic variety of ‘Hydrangea’, where it will provide heavenly clumps of snowy-white florets from late July into early October! Hydrangea paniculata Grandiflora is a hardy deciduous, weatherproof shrub that will last for years on end, continuously providing excellent displays for your garden boarders, wildlife areas and patio pots! The stunning blooms can even be used for cut flower displays within your home! Hydrangea paniculata prefers a sunny or semi shaded position, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any non alkaline, fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Water regularly until plants are fully established. Leave the faded hydrangea flower heads in place until the new buds swell in spring to protect the delicate buds from frost damage. Prune after flowering, reducing the stems to restrict their growth to the available space and to improve the shape of the plant. If necessary, Hydrangea paniculata will tolerate hard pruning of the oldest stems to a few buds from ground level. This will also encourage larger flower heads to be produced. After pruning hydrangeas, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost around the base of the plant. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten. Position: Sun or semi shade, Dappled shade Height: Up to 300cm (118.1in) when fully established Spread: Up to 200cm (78.7in) when fully established Supplied 2x Hydrangea Paniculate Grandiflora in 9cm pot Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
