Thompson and Morgan Hydrangea Avelroz Plant Pot 3.6L

Hydrangea serrata 'Avelroz' is a compact, hardy shrub, which is easy to grow with impressive results! You’ll love the lacecap blooms, with deep pink centres to each domed cluster surrounded by large, showy pale-pink florets. The fabulous flowers are complemented by rich, purple-green foliage, which adds depth to the display. Please note: in more alkaline soil, the flower colour will be a more purple-red. This compact Hydrangea is suitable for growing in both large containers and shrub borders. Why not cut some of the beautiful blooms for cut flower arrangements indoor? Hydrangea serrata prefers a sunny or semi shaded position, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any rich fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Alternatively plant hydrangea serrata in patio containers in soil-based compost such as John Innes No. 3.Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size.
