Thompson and Morgan Hippophae Rhamnoides Leikora Plant Pot 12L

Bring a burst of autumn colour and resilience to your garden with the vibrant female Sea Buckthorn 'Leikora', producing clusters of striking orange berries against silvery-green leaves. Thrive in challenging spots thanks to its drought-tolerance and ability to flourish in poor, sandy soils, especially in coastal areas where salt spray is common. Enjoy the visual and nutritional appeal of grape-sized, vitamin C-rich fruits each year, while using this hardy shrub as a natural screen or hedging solution. For the best berry harvest, plant alongside a male Sea Buckthorn and watch as 'Leikora' brings lasting charm and structure to your outdoor space. How to Grow: Light: Full sun to partial shade. Temperature: Hardy, suitable for most climates. Tolerates cold well. Watering: Water regularly after planting until established. Once established, it is drought-tolerant, especially in sandy soils. Feeding: Generally not required, as it thrives in poor soils. If desired, a light feed in spring can be beneficial. Humidity: Tolerant of low humidity and salt spray, making it ideal for coastal conditions. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary the results. Image may be included for illustration of supply, but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
