- Long elegant narrow grass blades
- Stylish and contemporary
- Low maintenance
The Golden Hakonechloa Aureola is a graceful, hardy clump-forming perennial that would look elegant in any contemporary modern garden. This plant is often seen in Japan, alongside Buddhist Zen and other types of gravel gardens. It produces lots of very attractive narrow green and yellow grass blades that are easy to grow and requires little maintenance. It is ideal for garden beds and borders, and will tolerate most soil conditions. Aureola likes to be planted in moist, well-drained soil, in direct sunlight or partial shade.
