Fiery and fantastic, Geum 'Mrs J. Bradshaw' will delight you with flame-red, semi-double blooms on thin wiry stems from June to September each year. Well-loved and consistently popular, 'Mrs J. Bradshaw' is a compact hardy perennial, which is easy to grow and provides long-lasting summer colour – great for the front of borders and the cut blooms make a dazzling and unusual addition to cut flower arrangements. Height and spread: 60cm (24"). Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore there's a list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. Plant them in moist, fertile, well drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position towards the front of the border in full sun. Water regularly until plants are fully established. Regular deadheading will encourage more flowers to be produced throughout the summer. In spring, lift and divide overcrowded clumps of geum to maintain their vigour.
