Endive ‘Mixed’ brings together Romanesca da Taglio, Fijne Krul Geel, Pancalieri a Costa Bianca and Riccia a Cuore d'Oro for a high-yield harvest from May to October, perfect for growing your own endive lettuce from seed in any sunny home garden. Each packet includes approximately 6,000 seeds with full growing instructions, making it easy to sow, transplant and enjoy a bountiful supply of nutritious leaves all season. Sow seeds into peat pots/modules from March to July and transplant when plants are 10-15cm tall, at 30cm square spacing. Alternatively, seeds can be sown directly into very finely prepared soil, in rows about 13mm deep, allowing 30cm between rows. Cover the seeds lightly with soil. Thin to 30cm apart in the row. It can also be sown more thickly as 'salad leaves' from March to August. Water after sowing directly or transplanting, and keep plants moist at all times. Product specifications: Position: Full Sun.
