Bring bold energy to your borders with Thompson & Morgan Crocosmia Spitfire Planting Bulb 10 Pack that burst into bright orange blooms, each touched with gold and surrounded by lush green foliage, creating a show that lifts the whole garden. Upright stems and vibrant colours make every summer display pop, and thanks to their compact dwarf habit, you’ll find these hardy perennials are easy to grow and maintain, even in wildlife-friendly spaces. Plant them in well-drained soil and enjoy a low-maintenance addition that’ll keep your garden lively season after season. How to grow: Easy to grow and highly reliable, this hardy Crocosmia thrives in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Improve poorer soils before planting by adding well-rotted manure or garden compost to encourage strong growth and flowering. Once established, Crocosmia 'Spitfire' requires very little maintenance. Remove faded flower stems and old foliage in autumn, then apply a mulch of bark chips or well-rotted compost to help protect the corms over winter. Overcrowded clumps can be lifted and divided in spring to maintain vigour.
