Thompson and Morgan Clematis Bridgewater Plant Pot 3L

Bring a splash of soft pink charm to patios or garden trellises with this compact clematis, offering large blooms up to 15cm wide and a tidy habit ideal for containers or smaller spaces. Clematis ‘Bridgewater’ flowers from June to August with a second flush in September, thrives in sun or part shade and reaches a manageable height of 1.2m, making it perfect for adding vertical interest without overwhelming your space. As a hardy perennial in pruning group three, it’s easy to maintain and rewards regular feeding, watering and spring pruning with a beautiful display year after year. How to Grow: Plant in sun or part shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. When planting, ensure the top of the rootball is 7.5cm (3) below soil level to encourage healthy basal shoots. Clematis dislikes overly wet or dry soils, so improve with compost or well-rotted manure if needed. In containers, use John Innes No.3 compost and provide support. Feed and water regularly, and prune in spring, cutting last year’s stems down to a healthy pair of buds around 20cm above the ground.
