Thompson and Morgan Clematis Alpina Imke Plant Pot 9cm 3 Pack

Elevate your garden with the Thompson and Morgan Clematis Alpina Imke Plant Pot 9cm 3 Pack. Clematis alpina 'Imke' brings a burst of spring charm with its double, nodding pink blooms that light up trellises, pergolas and containers, followed by fluffy seed heads for lasting appeal into autumn. You'll find its repeat flowering and low-maintenance nature perfect for both beginners and seasoned gardeners, offering beauty from early spring through to the end of the season. Thriving in moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade, this climber is easy to grow and needs little pruning, making it a versatile and rewarding addition to any garden setting. How to Grow: Plant in moist, well-drained, fertile soil in sun or partial shade. Ensure the top of the root ball sits 7.5cm below the soil surface to promote strong base shoots. Clematis prefers consistently moist—not overly wet or dry—soil conditions. For containers, use John Innes No.3 compost. More Info: Feed and water regularly during the growing season. Requires no routine pruning, but remove any dead or damaged stems after flowering. Apply a mulch in spring to conserve moisture and protect roots.
