Awarded an RHS Award of Garden Merit for its performance in the garden, Senecio ‘Silver Dust’ boasts finely divided silvery white foliage. This half-hardy perennial is best treated as a half-hardy annual – plant as an edging to borders, as feature plants or in pots. This showy bedding plant produces a 20-25cm (8-10in) mound of fabulous foliage – providing the perfect foil for strong or pastel-coloured blooms. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 15-20cm (6-8in) apart in a sunny spot, on light and well-drained soil.
