Bring a unique twist to your kitchen with the Thompson and Morgan Celeriac Monarch Seeds, known for their sweet, earthy flavour and tender texture that work wonders in autumn and winter dishes. You'll love how versatile these roots are, perfect for roasting, mashing, soups or stews, and even tasty when boiled or fried as a side or snack. Ideal for both cooking and raw recipes, celeriac monarch adds depth to your meals and stands out for its attractive appearance and exceptional eating quality. Sow seeds from February to April, three millimetres deep in quality seed compost. Germination typically takes 21 to 25 days at 20 to 25°C (68 to 77°F). Reduce the temperature after germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them individually into seven-centimetre pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions before planting out in June in a sunny, well-drained position.
