Bring a burst of green to your home with the Thompson and Morgan Cat Grass Tabby Hordeum Vulgarie Varigated Seeds, offering a fresh and nutritious treat for your feline companion while helping keep your houseplants safe from curious nibbles. Quick to grow and easy to care for, this hardy perennial barley variety reaches up to 15cm in just six weeks, making it perfect for year-round sowing on a sunny windowsill or in a greenhouse. This packet contains around 100 seeds, ensuring a regular supply for your pet or a charming ornamental touch for borders, and comes complete with simple growing and care instructions so you can get started right away. Grow Cat Grass all year round, in the greenhouse or on a sunny windowsill. Sow on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp seed compost and lightly cover the seed with vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal the seed tray inside a polythene bag, maintaining a temperature of 18-24°C (65-75F) until after germination, which usually takes 14-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination. If grown indoors solely as a cat treat, keep things clean by sowing small batches of seed in pure vermiculite. Once germinated, grow the seedlings on in cooler conditions until they reach a height of 15cm before making them available to your cat. Product specifications: Position: Full Sun.
