Thompson and Morgan Caltha Palustris Plant Pot 9cm

Caltha palustris, commonly known as Marsh Marigold, is a charming native that heralds the arrival of spring. Its glossy, kidney-shaped foliage forms a dense clump, providing a striking backdrop for its vibrant yellow flowers. This hardy perennial is highly attractive to pollinators, offering a rich source of nectar while adding instant colour and life to ponds, streams, and water garden edges. Perfect for boggy soils or shallow water margins, Marsh Marigold thrives in fertile, moisture-retentive conditions. Its ease of care and natural beauty make it an ideal choice for gardeners looking to enhance wildlife-friendly water features or create an attractive seasonal display. Overcrowded clumps can be lifted and divided in spring to maintain plant health and vigour. How to Grow: Light: Sun or semi-shade. Watering: Keep soil moist or submerged in shallow water. Feeding: Apply balanced fertiliser in early spring if needed. Humidity: Suitable for damp, boggy conditions. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary the results. Image may be included for illustration of supply, but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g., deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
