Perfect for grouping with other tropical houseplants, calathea rufibarba helps you create an exotic, lush tableau reminiscent of a vibrant conservatory and invites the calming beauty of the tropics into your home. How to Grow: Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. Temperature: Maintain average room temperatures between 18-24°C (65-75°F). Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Feeding: Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Humidity: High humidity is preferred. Mist the leaves regularly or place the pot on a pebble tray filled with water. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
