Bring a burst of tropical charm to your home or garden as Thompson & Morgan Butterfly Pea Seeds climbs and flourishes, showing off big blue blooms with crisp white throats through summer months. Quick to grow and half-hardy, you'll find it ideal for covering obelisks, fences or adding a striking feature to patios and conservatories. Each packet includes approximately 20 seeds and comes with detailed growing and care instructions, making it easy to enjoy this exotic and unusual plant indoors or outdoors. How to grow: Sow seed on the surface of a free-draining, damp, seed compost and cover with a layer of compost or vermiculite, 6mm (1/8 inch) deep. Place in a propagator or seal container in a polythene bag at a temperature of 20-25C (68-77F) until after germination which takes 14-21 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3 inch) pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12 inch) apart. Product specifications: Position: Full Sun.
