- Evergreen shrub offers year-round silvery foliage and yellow flowers
- Drought tolerant and withstands coastal winds and poor soils
- Prefers full sun and free-draining soil for healthy growth
Bring instant cheer to your garden with the vibrant foliage and golden blooms of Brachyglottis compacta 'Sunshine', a hardy evergreen shrub that thrives in sunny spots and adds year-round interest. Silvery-grey leaves create a rounded, textured shape while eye-catching yellow daisy-like flowers burst into colour from June to July, making it a standout choice for gravel gardens, coastal areas, or Mediterranean-inspired borders. Exceptionally tough and undemanding, it flourishes in free-draining soil, tolerates salty winds and dry conditions, and needs only occasional trimming to maintain its compact form, so you'll enjoy lasting beauty with minimal fuss.
