Product Information

  • Weather-resistant blooms provide continuous colour all summer and autumn
  • Trio of shades creates eye-catching ruffled double flower display
  • Supplied as tuber with growing and care instructions included
Brighten up outdoor spaces with the Thompson and Morgan Begonia Nonstop Berries and Cream Mix Tuber 20 Pack. It produces vibrant ruffled double blooms that burst in three fruity shades, offering a dazzling display from early summer right through to autumn. Begonia ‘Nonstop Berries and Cream’ tubers thrive in window boxes, baskets and containers, creating larger plants in their first year compared to plugs or seeds. With weather-resistant flowers and easy planting instructions included, you’ll enjoy a long-lasting show in sunny or semi-shaded spots, perfect for cascading colour wherever you plant them. From February, start tuberous begonias off in well-drained, moist compost in a warm, frost-free position in bright light. When planting begonia tubers, position them just below the compost surface with the indented side facing upwards. In hanging baskets, the tubers can be planted at a 45-degree angle with their roots toward the centre, to encourage plants to cascade over the sides of the basket. When begonia plants are well grown, and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of seven to ten days, before planting them in their final positions. Choose a sunny or semi-shaded position that is protected from strong winds. Feed and water Begonia plants frequently throughout the growing season, taking care not to over-water, as this will cause new begonia flower buds to drop. Deadhead faded begonia flowers regularly to extend the flowering period and encourage more blooms. Product Specifications: Half-Hardy Perennial. Position: window boxes, baskets and containers. Height: Up to 30cm when fully established. Spread: Up to 30cm when fully established. Delivered with growing and care instructions. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary the results. An image may be included to illustrate the supply, but it can vary with seasonal changes (e.g., deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
