It is a premium sweet cylindrical variety that produces large, elongated roots, allowing for more plants per row. This outstanding beetroot is easy to grow, with roots comfortably standing above the soil while remaining suitable for earthing up, ensuring they stay in good condition for extended periods. Sow seeds from March to July, placing them thinly at a depth of 1cm (1/2 inch) in drills 30cm (12 inches) apart. This beetroot prefers well-drained, rich, and moist soil. Thin seedlings to 5cm (2 inches) apart for baby beets or to 7cm (3 inches) for larger, heavier cylindrical roots. Specifications include a height of up to 30cm (11.8 inches) and a spread of up to 15cm (5.9 inches) when fully established. Supplied as one packet containing 250 beetroot seeds.
