Ideal for any gardener as filler for containers, tubs and hanging baskets, helping to give a long flowering display all summer. The trailing, evergreen stems of this half-hardy basket filler bear a smothering of snow-white flowers throughout summer. Let bacopa plants tumble from mixed patio containers and baskets for a brilliant display throughout summer. Height: 15cm. Spread: 45cm. Please note: This seed is sold as a multi-seeded pellet for easy sowing into modules to aid easy planting. Sow bacopa seeds from February to March at 20-23C (68-73F), on the surface of a good quality seed compost and gently firm down. This seed is supplied as a multi-pellet so should not be covered, but requires regular misting to help the breakdown of the pellet and to aid germination. Keep the soil damp but not wet and do not exclude light. Place in a propagator or seal the seed tray inside a polythene bag until after germination, which usually takes five to ten days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow them in cooler conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When bacopa plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over seven to ten days. Transplant outdoors into baskets or borders in full sun on fertile, well-drained soil at a distance of 23cm apart.
