Bring a refreshing burst of natural vitality to your living space with a duo of Asplenium nidus, the renowned bird's nest fern, thriving beautifully in low light and humid rooms. Lush sword-like fronds with distinctive black midribs unfurl gracefully from a central rosette, creating a striking modern accent that suits both classic and contemporary interiors. Enjoy the ease of care as this fern flourishes on minimal attention, continuously producing fresh fronds for year-round interest, while also working to purify indoor air. Perfect for bathrooms, shadier corners or north and east-facing windowsills, it’s an inspired choice for beginners and seasoned plant lovers alike. How to Grow: Light: Prefers low to medium indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. Temperature: Average room temperatures are ideal (18-24°C). Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes. Watering: Keep compost moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Avoid letting the central rosette fill with water. Feeding: Feed once a month with liquid fertiliser during spring/summer. Humidity: Enjoys high humidity. Bathrooms and kitchens are ideal. Misting or a pebble tray can help in drier rooms.
