Aronia melanocarpa Hugin is the perfect way to add some fiery colour to your autumn displays as the leaves take on shades of orange and red. Clusters of white, fragrant blooms appear in May and June, and the lovely round black berries will follow in autumn. The tart berries are edible and are great when added to fruit pies or made into jams and compotes. Grow Chokeberry in a wide range of different soils; they can cope with drought conditions as well as waterlogged ground, once plants are established. They will grow very well in slightly acidic soils. Grow in sun or light shade. Aronia plants require very little maintenance, just trim to fit the space and remove any dead, diseased or damaged growth. Product Specifications: Position in: full sun or semi-shade.
