Anemone blanda bulbs should be soaked in water overnight prior to planting. Plant the tubers in large groups at a depth of five centimetres. Choose a sunny or semi-shaded position in well-drained soil where they can be left to grow undisturbed. Anemone blanda plants require a dry, dormant period in summer when the foliage begins to die back after flowering in early summer. Do not water them during this period.
