Thompson and Morgan Amelanchier Lamarckii Multi-Stemmed Bare Root Tree

Experience nature with the Thompson and Morgan Amelanchier Lamarckii Multi-Stemmed Bare Root Tree. This resilient specimen tree initially showcases lovely white flowers in spring, beautifully contrasting with the emerging bronze foliage. As the seasons progress, the leaves are transformed into a stunning array of vibrant orange and red hues, creating a breathtaking focal point, particularly when placed in a sunny border. Known as Snowy Mespilus, the name reflects the snow-like appearance of its springtime blossoms. As a deciduous tree, Amelanchier lamarckii offers year-round visual appeal with its open structure providing an elegant display. It flourishes in slightly acidic soil and requires plenty of sunshine to achieve the most intense autumn colours. This tree is an excellent choice for adding structure and vibrant colour to any garden, ensuring a captivating display from spring blooms to fiery fall foliage. It thrives best in full sun to partial shade, is hardy with no special temperature requirements beyond standard garden conditions, and should be watered regularly—especially when young and during dry spells—allowing the soil to become slightly dry between waterings. Although feeding is generally unnecessary, a balanced liquid fertiliser can be beneficial in spring if growth appears poor. This tree has no specific humidity requirements.
