- Red and white blooms with star pattern
- Perfect for windowsills and conservatories
- Flexible flowering time
An absolutely stunning amaryllis with large, bright red and pure white blooms with a striking star pattern. Amaryllis Minerva is loved for its indoor showy display and its versatility you can choose when you want them to flower! These bulbs should bloom 10 to 12 weeks after planting, so keep bulbs cool and dry until you decide to plant them, whether it be winter, early spring or summer. If planting in a container, use John Innes No.2 and place it in a bright, warm position in full sun. Plant amaryllis bulbs so that the shoulders of the bulb protrude above ground level. Water only sparingly until the stems appear. Gradually increase watering as the stems develop, and feed amaryllis plants regularly during active growth. After flowering, deadhead the faded blooms and cut away the old stems from their base, leaving the foliage intact. Continue to feed and water amaryllis bulbs until the leaves begin to yellow and die back and the bulb enters its dormant period.
