Each plant produces striking flowers atop bushy stems and making ideal cut blooms for your home; you'll enjoy a mix of unique colourways, sultry dark purples and delicate streaks that create a truly eye-catching display in any outdoor space. Alstroemeria Purple Passion Collection includes the following: Alstroemeria Inticancha ‘Moon’ – A unique colour way with white petals fading into a light purple throat. Alstroemeria Inticancha ‘Paraiso’ – Sultry dark purple blooms. Alstroemeria Inticancha ‘Passion’ – Blooms covered in white with purple streaks and speckles. How to grow: Pot up and grow on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, plant in a sunny or semi shaded position in fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Alternatively, plant in patio containers in soil-based compost such as John Innes No.3. These tall plants will appreciate a support to protect their tall stems. Insert the support into the ground prior to planting and tie the stems in with soft twine throughout the growing season. Throughout the growing season, water regularly and feed container grown plants each month. When picking alstroemeria pluck the flowers rather than cutting. In autumn, cut back the old flower stems and apply a dry mulch of chipped bark or straw to the base of the plant to protect it from cold winter weather. Alstroemeria prefers to be left undisturbed but can be divided in autumn or spring if clumps become overcrowded. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
