This excellent foliage plant will defiantly attract attention! The arrow-shaped, evergreen leaves reach up to 60cm (24") long making a magnificent focal point. Each dark green leaf is patterned with contrasting silvery-white veins that make this plant visually stunning. Alocasia x amazonica makes a superb specimen plant for a lightly shaded spot in a warm room or conservatory – Great for adding a lush, jungle feel to your home! Height and spread: 1m (39"). Please note: decorative pot is not included. Alocasia requires bright light, well away from the scorch of direct sun. Choose a hot room with a temperature above 15C (59F), put the plant away from middle heating and draughty doorways. Water Alocasia consistently allowing the soil surface to dry out between each time. Always allow the pot to drain properly afterwards. In winter, reduce watering to stop the soil becoming soggy and waterlogged, as this will cause the plant to rot. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth. Alocasia appreciates a humid atmosphere - stand it on a tray filled with pebbles and water.
