Commonly known as a Houseleek, this tender evergreen house plant is a wonderful architectural addition to the home. Aeonium Arboreum produces smooth, fleshy green and deep purple, almost black, foliage with rounded tips atop a sturdy stem, bringing height, texture and a tropical feel to the home. Its rich colour really stands out when grown in terracotta pots, or alongside lighter coloured succulents – perfect for creating a varied, eye-catching succulent display in your home.This tender house plant should be grown indoors in a conservatory or heated greenhouse in a sunny and sheltered position. Grow in well-drained soil or loam-based potting compost. As with all succulents, water sparingly as they have fleshy leaves that allow them to retain moisture and cope with dry conditions.
