Thompson and Morgan Actinidia Kolomikta Plant Pot 2L

Transform your garden with Actinidia Kolomikta, a striking deciduous climber prized for its unique variegated foliage. As this vigorous plant matures, its heart-shaped leaves develop an enchanting pattern of dark green with splashes of silvery-white and pink at the tips. In early summer, Actinidia 'Kolomikta' blooms with clusters of fragrant white flowers, enhancing its appeal against a sunny, sheltered wall or pergola. This climber thrives in full sun on fertile, well-drained soil, where its foliage colouration shines brightest. Actinidia 'Kolomikta' is a twining climber that benefits from regular feeding and watering until fully established. While hardy, it appreciates winter protection during harsh cold spells. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain its shape and size, ensuring it fits the available space and continues to flourish with its variegated beauty year after year. How to grow instructions: Light: Plant in full sun for best foliage colouration. Temperature: Provide shelter from cold winter winds to protect tender growth. Watering: Water regularly, especially during dry spells, to keep soil moist but well-drained. Feeding: Feed with a balanced fertiliser during the growing season to promote vigorous growth. Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring to control size and encourage healthy new growth. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity.
