A low-oil alert system protects the engine by automatically shutting it down when the reservoir’s running dry, while a transistor-type ignition works to minimise fuel-consumption on start-up. Also important in terms of the engine is the cavernous three-litre fuel-tank that delivers an impressive three-hour run-time on one fill.
