To ensure safety, a continuous seal wraps around the entire frame to offer protection from cold draughts blowing from the loft into your warm home. Apart from this, the seal and thick wooden frame, together with a 33mm thick trapdoor, achieve a tested U-value of 1.11 W/m²K. Its strong and durable frame is manufactured from 18-mm engineered timber to improve the insulation properties and give a secure fit. The ladder comes with all the necessary components for installation, including fixings and screws. Additionally, this kit is made complete with a loft pole to enable easy opening suitable for ceilings up to 2.8m.
