This high-quality sealer is specifically designed to recolour and renew black tarmac and asphalt surfaces. This professional-grade sealer is pigment-based and formulated with a unique blend of acrylic resins. With the use of this sealer, there is no longer a need for costly asphalt replacement as it recolours the surface and replenishes lost resins. It also covers unsightly cement and oil stains or marks and brings the surface back to life. It’s the quick and easy solution to renewing your tarmac and is ready to apply straight from the bottle! Preparation: Ensure the surface is gently but thoroughly cleaned, and any loose stones are swept off before any application of sealer. A pre-treatment with green growth remover will be necessary 4 to 5 days prior to applying the sealer if green growths such as algae and green growth are present. Importantly, make sure weather conditions are favourable before commencing for a smooth and uninterrupted application process! Directions: Ensure you have adequate safety wear, i.e. gloves, mask, suitable protective eyewear and clothing before you start work. Application temperature range: 12 degrees to 22 degrees Celsius. Firstly, make sure the surface is completely clean and allow a minimum of 3 to 4 dry days before sealing. Use a smaller brush or roller to carefully apply Essential Black Tarmac Sealer to the edges or borders and fine lines to achieve a tidy finish. For larger areas, apply generously and evenly using a good-quality floor roller. Do not dilute. Leave to dry for 45 to 60 mins. Secondly, repeat the process of applying sealer in the opposite direction for even colour distribution. Before driving or parking cars on the surface, please allow 24 hours after the application. Your tarmac will be suitable for light foot traffic after 1 to 2 hours. Coverage: Up to 5m2 per litre per coat. Up to 25m2 per 5L. Do not dilute the product. Note: If rain is forecast for up to 4 hours after application, do not apply sealer. Wait for a better time. Always try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Sensitive surfaces which are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material.
