It features four guard rails to the top bunk and two to either side, which ensures safety for the top bunk sleeper. The ladder is adjustable to either the left or right-hand side, making it suitable for any bedroom requirements. It also complies with the requirements of UK bunk beds, which include Entrapment Hazards, Safety Regulations 1987 and the European Standards (EN747-1). The bunk bed can be easily separated into two single beds, and both feature solid slatted bases, which provide extra support to the mattresses (this product is for the bunk bed only). The headboard and foot end of both top and bottom bunks are styled in a matching vertical slatted design. It comes with two Bedmaster Clay Ortho Single Spring Orthopaedic Mattresses. These orthopaedic 12.5 gauge open coil hand tufted turn-and-rotate mattresses are tested to BS7177. Supplied flat-packed to a room of choice. Self-assembly required.
