How do I clean wellies?

Wellies are very easy to clean: simply wash off any mud under the tap or a hose, using a brush for any stubborn bits. Don’t be tempted to use any abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, or your waterproof wellies may not be so waterproof anymore!

How should my wellies fit?

Wellington boots are made from waterproof and hardwearing materials and don’t have a lot of ‘stretch’ in them, so make sure there’s a bit of room. Bear in mind that you may want to wear thicker woollen socks in winter, so make sure there’s room for those too!
