Gardeco Handmade Traditional Straw Bee Colony Skep 40cm

Bring a touch of heritage to your garden with a handmade straw skep, crafted using time-honoured techniques and natural straw for a safe and chemical-free home for bees or a charming decorative piece. Skilled artisans shape each skep to a spacious 40cm diameter, using straw sourced as a harvest by-product, making it an environmentally-friendly choice for bee lovers and eco-conscious decorators alike. The traditional design features a low entrance to match bees' natural instincts and offers versatile use, so you can place it on a flat surface or hang it by its sturdy handle. Perfect for those keen on supporting bee colonies without harvesting honey, it also serves as a practical tool for collecting swarms or celebrating the history of beekeeping.
