Can post lights be used in all weather conditions?

Outdoor post lights are designed to be tough and resilient in almost all weathers, though it may be worth removing them if you’re expecting particularly high winds or lots of snow which could damage them. If you’re using solar post lights, giving the panel itself a wipe every now and again will keep it working perfectly.

Are post lights energy efficient?

Any outdoor lights with LED bulbs are cheap to run and last a long time before being replaced. Solar lights cost nothing to run, which we love! They charge during the day using solar power and automatically turn on and off depending on light levels. Simple!

Are post lights easy to install?

Most post lights couldn’t be easier to install: simply drive the pointy end into the ground where you want the light to sit. Make sure the ground is free of any seeds and bulbs and is strong enough to hold the weight of the post light.

How long do LED post lights last?

LED lights have a long lifespan of about 50,000 to 100,000 hours, averaging 10 to 15 years. That’s pretty good value!

Do LED post lights get hot?

Yes, LED post lights can get slightly hot, but not nearly as much as halogen or incandescent bulbs.
