It features four guard rails to the top bunk and two to either side, which ensures safety for the top bunk sleeper. The ladder is adjustable to either the left or right-hand side, making it suitable for any bedroom requirements. It also complies with the requirements of UK bunk beds, which include Entrapment Hazards, Safety Regulations 1987 and the European Standards (EN747-1). The headboard and footboard are both styled with vertical slats, and the mattresses are supported by a strong wooden slatted base for extra comfort. This bed can easily be split and used as separate Single and Small Double beds, making it a perfect option for saving space. Ideal for both adults and children, the bed comes with one Single and one Small Double Bedmaster Ethan Spring Mattress. These micro-quilted 13.5 gauge open coil turn-and-rotate spring mattresses are tested to BS7177.
