Wilko in the community
Wilko in the community

If there’s one thing this time has taught us more than ever it’s that we’re better when we’re together. With wilko stores being right in the heart of our local communities, we’re getting stuck in however, and whenever, we’re able to.

Plus, we’ve teamed up with Well Pharmacy and Alzheimer’s Society to volunteer some of our time. We’re encouraging all our team members to volunteer, whether it’s in work time or their personal time to either help deliver prescriptions to those who can’t get out or keep in touch with lonely and vulnerable people on the phone.

12,000 cups of tea to support Mental Health Awareness Week

They’ve been sending out tea bags alongside a postcard with information on mental health awareness, encouraging people to get talking over a cup of tea during Mental Health Awareness Week.

A colourful donation to Bulwell toy library
