Help control and suppress weed growth in your garden with our 8 Metre Weed Guard. It's perfect for mulched areas and decorative spaces and will also prevent mulch from disappearing into your soil. Its overall size is L 8m x W 1.5m approx which can be cut to size. Directions for use: Remove weeds from the area (including roots). Remove sharp objects such as stones and rake to a smooth level surface. Roll out the weed guard and secure it (if using more than 1 width ensure a 15cm overlap). Cover with mulch (gravel, bark chippings etc.) to a depth of 5cm. Ensure totally covered as the light will encourage weed seeds to germinate and these may grow through. Be vigilant and remove weed seedlings that may germinate in the mulch layer.
