Shelving

Types of Shelving

Corner Shelf

Ever looked at an empty corner of a room and wondered how to fill it? You could go for an indoor plant or a floor lamp, but another brilliant choice for bringing your rooms to life is by using a corner shelf! There’s loads of materials and sizes to choose from, and they’re perfect for holding photo frames, ornaments, books, and so much more! You’ll find corner shelves in handy triangular and L shapes for a snug fit, or there’s classic shelving units which are easy to slot into a corner. With a corner shelving unit, you can maximise the space in your living room. In the bathroom, we have brilliant corner bathroom shelves which stick to the shower wall for handy access to your shampoo.

Ladder Shelf

Step up your home décor with a ladder shelf, a space-saving and stylish way to show off your decorations. Ladder shelves usually stand against a wall and have multiple shelves which get narrower towards the top. This not only gives you plenty of storage space, but it also shows off a variety of different items so you can let your creative side go wild! We love storing coffee table books on the lower shelves, and save the top shelves for beautiful trailing houseplants for an eye-catching display. You could take your shelving style even further with some decorative lighting around the outside, creating a wonderfully warm and cosy atmosphere in bedrooms, living rooms, and home offices thanks to their slim profile.

Wall Shelves

Some people love off-the-wall home décor, but you can’t go wrong with on-the-wall either! By mounting directly onto the wall, you free up your floor space and add some height to your living areas. Whether you go for classic wall shelves, floating shelves, or something more decorative, there’s no limit to the customisation options you have simply by mixing and matching! Combine yours with some elegant wall lights to really show off your shelves, and remember to grab a drill and the appropriate screws and plugs for safe mounting.
