Commonly known as houseleeks, these succulents provide something a little bit different to the garden and are so simple to maintain. Featuring striking colour combinations, each variety produces neat rosettes of outstretching fleshy leaves and is low-growing, so will look outstanding in any style of garden. The Sempervivums need to be planted in well-drained soil in full sun, tolerating drought once established. Their leaf colour is dependent on temperature and light, so may vary in intensity throughout the year. These plants are supplied in three 12cm pots and the varieties include - a Giants Copper Canyon, a Giants Emerald Explosion and a Giants Gold Mine. The Giants Copper Canyon features a beautiful colour combination as copper-red edges glow around a bright jade centre from spring. The copper shade moves into the centre as the year progresses and the edges fall to ruby. The Giants Emerald Explosion boasts emerald green edges that add shimmering interest to burgundy leaves. This colour even stays strong throughout the year. Lastly, the Giants Gold Mine has an outstanding shiny gold and dark maroon-red colouring that remains consistent, regardless of the season.
