These plants look fab in border backdrops and grow well in sunny or shady areas. Flowering height: 30inch/75cm. Planting guide - When to plant - March to June. How far apart - Plant - 4"/10cm. Soil requirement - Likes a rather heavy, well-drained soil with a good supply of organic matter. Enrich sandy soils with leaf mould or compost. How to plant: Position the plant in full sun or partial shade. Flowering height - 30"/75cm. Planting depth - 3"/8cm. Care guide: When planting, a deep hole should be made so that the roots hang freely downwards. Fill the hole with a moisture-rich soil mixture. Good for cutting. Remove faded flower heads to encourage more buds to form. Attractive to butterflies.
