Grow fresh and healthy greens at home with our Pea Sugar Bon Seeds. These seeds produce crisp, crunchy, sweet-tasting, almost stringless peas that can be eaten whole. The whole pods can be used until quite large or left to mature and shelled for the succulent peas inside. Perfect for growing in smaller places or exposed locations. Sow outdoors: March to May. Harvest: May to September. Planting guide: Outdoor sowing: Sow in a prepared seed bed in flat drills 15cm (6in) wide and 5cm (2in) deep. Sow in a zig-zag pattern along the drill, allowing 5cm (2in) between seeds. Space drills 90cm (36in) apart. Cover with 5cm (2in) of fine soil. The average pack contains 150 seeds. Firm gently and keep moist. Protect early sowings with cloches. Seedlings usually appear in 10-14 days. Growing on: Protect younger plants from birds with twigs or netting. Provide support with pea sticks or netting for easier picking, especially in windy locations. Keep moist and weed-free at all times. Pick regularly for the best yields.
