Directions for use: The Universal fit waste system is easily fitted to new and existing standard-sized waste pipes. Ensure the taps are fully closed. Disconnect existing pipework connected to the old trap. Note: Take care against any potential water spillage on removal. In order to ensure the best results, all pipes must be cut square and free of rough edges. All joints must be clean and free of any debris. Note: Use the telescopic adjustment to get the correct height. To make an effective joint, you must, first of all, dismantle the joint fitting. Then place the locking ring and rubber washer onto the pipe. You must make sure the washer taper on the locking ring is facing the fitting. Insert the pipe fully into the joint (it will be approximately 1” or 25mm). Then tighten the locking ring by hand, taking care not to over-tighten. When constructing a horizontal pipe, run you must make sure there is a fall to the final drain. A 2 ½ degree angle is recommended. Also, ensure pipe runs are supported by pipe clips every 1000mm for vertical runs and 500mm for horizontal runs.
