The Handy Basic Hollow Tine Aerator is a useful implement for helping your hard and dry lawn areas. It provides sustained aeration and relieves compacted soil. It is a simple and cost-effective solution for gardeners to relieve hard and dry sections of their lawns. Made of all steel, the tine aerator can remove five soil cores in one action and helps fertiliser or dressing to work more efficiently. The five hollow tines remove soil cores down to a depth of 50mm and enable water, air and nutrients better access to the root network in order to encourage lush and healthy growth. Equipped with a tread plate, it facilitates easy digging in the tines. With a working width of 20cm, the tine aerator covers a large garden/lawn area in one pass.
